Day 7

Started our morning early, as Julia unintentionally woke Allie who slept in the car due to wind.

Headed back North to Carnarvan to do laundry.  Needed 10 one dollar coins.  Went various places to get these.  Then the dryer ate the coins.  We were unimpressed.

Went to the OTC Satellite dish by Carnarvan used in relaying NASA messages in the Apollo (and other) missions!  IT WAS SO COOL.

Went to the Quobba blow holes, and then for a fantastic snorkel right off the beach.  Highlights included parrot fish, giant clams, a sea snake (dead, and that one was on the beach), beautiful coral, and fish of every color.  The current just brought you parallel to shore, then you could get out and get back in again—it was great!

Drove a ridiculously long way to a beautiful beach campsite that has really great wind protection, and a lot of suicidal kangaroos.
