In which we drive from Perth to Broome, and tell you what happens! Emphasis on the tell, as internet is usually too slow for picture uploads.

Day 6

Got up absurdly early (for us) for a “dolphin interaction”.  Saw a calf up close, as well as the rest of the pod.  Speculated on the ethics of this activity.

Got on the road and drove to the little lagoon, a quick stop in Denham, then to Eagle Bluff.

Waded with sharks in a bay we hiked down to off path.  They swam right up to us, and then sped away.  Both agree, coolest animal interaction (Julia still loves the stromatolites).

Drove for an absurdly long time, and arrived at Carnavaron, a city from the 1950s.

At the supermarket, they have some derivatives of black beans, but no cans of just black beans.  There’s even a Mexican section.  WHERE ARE MY BLACK BEANS. (Julia is starting to get desperate)

Drove back down South, and found a dubious campsite, possibly at New Beach.

Awesome dinner with burritos, still no black beans.

The wind will again keep us up all night.  Yey. SHWWHSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHWWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHSSSSSSSSSSSSS
