Woke up and headed to the pelican feeding! Still undetermined as to whether their beaks
can hold more than their belly cans.
Drove through Kalbarri, attempting what drives we could… saw some
gorgeous gorges.
After a long drive, we arrived on the peninsula of Shark Bay!
There, we saw the most famous site of Western Australia… or at
least, it should be. We saw
stromatolites! And some were alive! Julia’s favorite living thing.
Passed through vermin-proof fence, and went to Shell Beach.
Arrived at the Visitor Center.
Note: everything closes at 5pm. Oops.
Stayed that night in Denham, passed a ridiculously windy night
that involved reparking the car, dragging a log to support the tentlines, and
wear ear plugs. Very little sleep.
